In preparation for President Putin's visit to India, various security agencies have been placed on high alert, with officials establishing a comprehensive security framework covering his route and engagements in the capital, according to official sources on Tuesday. While the detailed schedule for the Russian president's visit is confirmed, specifics regarding his accommodations and exact location remain undisclosed due to strict security protocols.

According to police sources, all agencies involved in the security setup have been directed to ensure continuous monitoring throughout this high-profile visit.

"From the moment he arrives until he departs, every movement will be observed by multiple security agencies. We are coordinating real-time details of every movement minute by minute," a source stated.

A source indicated that senior officials of the Delhi Police will manage the security arrangements, including traffic control and ensuring safety in areas that the Russian president will visit during his time in the city.

"As per the established route plan, all designated locations along the movement path will be secured and thoroughly checked in advance. Notifications will also be released regarding restrictions to lessen the inconvenience for commuters," the source mentioned.

According to insiders, over 50 members from Russia's advance security and protocol teams will arrive in the capital shortly to carry out comprehensive evaluations of the proposed routes, possible stopovers, visit sites, and the overall security framework.

"Throughout the two-day period, Delhi will implement a multi-layered security approach involving the Delhi Police, central agencies, and Putin's personal security squad. Specialized units, including SWAT, anti-terror squads, and quick response teams, will be deployed at various key locations across the city. Additionally, drone surveillance, CCTV monitoring, and technical intelligence systems will be used to maintain real-time situational awareness," the source stated.

A police officer, who requested to remain anonymous, noted that no detail is being overlooked. Traffic reroutes, restricted zones, and limitations on pedestrian access are anticipated in key areas; however, officials assured that prior announcements will be made to minimize disruptions.
