Tata Motors Commercial Vehicle Listing:
Shares of Tata Motors’ Commercial Vehicle (CV) division were listed on the NSE at ₹335, marking a 28% premium over its pre-listing price of ₹260.75. Following the listing, the stock price dipped about 4% to touch a low of ₹322.6.

At 11:00 AM, the stock was trading 1.75% lower at ₹329 compared to its listing price.

On the BSE, Tata Motors CV (TMCV) debuted at ₹330.25 — 26% higher than its pre-determined valuation of ₹261.9. After listing, the stock touched a low of ₹321, about 3% below its opening price. Around 11:00 AM, the stock was trading nearly flat on the BSE.

Following approvals from both the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Tata Motors had announced earlier this week that its commercial vehicle business would be listed on Wednesday, November 12, 2025. The listing came after its existing listed entity, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles (TMPV), began operating as a separate company excluding the commercial vehicle segment. The newly listed entity now trades as Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited.

After the demerger, TMCVL becomes India’s largest commercial vehicle manufacturer, with a presence across all categories — from small goods carriers to medium and heavy commercial vehicles. The demerged entity also includes the recently acquired IVECO Group NV, one of the world’s top five commercial vehicle manufacturers.
