Following
approvals from both the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and
the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), Tata Motors had announced earlier this
week that its commercial vehicle business would be listed on Wednesday,
November 12, 2025. The listing came after its existing listed entity, Tata
Motors Passenger Vehicles (TMPV), began operating as a separate company
excluding the commercial vehicle segment. The newly listed entity now trades
as Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Limited.
After the
demerger, TMCVL becomes India’s largest commercial vehicle
manufacturer, with a presence across all categories — from small goods carriers
to medium and heavy commercial vehicles. The demerged entity also includes the
recently acquired IVECO Group NV, one of the world’s top five commercial
vehicle manufacturers.
